Introducing the Barton Tufnol Snatch Block f/Wire & Fibreoptic Cables — a purpose-built, low-maintenance solution engineered to handle both wire ropes and fibreoptic cables in the harshest environments.
The Tufnol sheave is designed to prevent static build-up and electrical discharge, delivering a clean, safe performance even under demanding loads. Tufnol is a bearing-grade material that provides a low-friction surface for the rope or cable to run on, reducing wear and the number of moving parts for enhanced reliability and longevity.
Built for durability, the cheeks are machined from marine-grade 316 stainless steel, with a stainless pin and retaining nuts to resist corrosion in marine and industrial settings. This Snatch Block is ideal for commercial applications in the toughest environments.

Fibreoptic & Wire Bending
Fibreoptic cables and wire ropes require a minimum bend radius to prevent failures. This block is suitable for both fibreoptics and wires up to 10 mm in diameter. The large sheave ensures the bend radius of the wire is not compromised and adds an engineered safety factor to prolong the life of the cable when continual movement around the same section is required.
