Discover seamless integration of Victron power data with your NMEA 2000 network using the Digital Yacht VE-KONVERT. This universal gateway converts VE.Direct data from Victron devices into NMEA 2000 information, so you can monitor battery health, charging activity, and solar performance directly on your Multi Function Displays (Raymarine, Garmin, Navico, Furuno, and more).
Key benefits
-
VE.Direct to NMEA 2000 gateway brings Victron electrical data onto your NMEA 2000 network for central visibility on any MFD.
-
Battery awareness at a glance shows voltage, charge/discharge current, state of charge, and time to depletion using a sophisticated algorithm.
-
Plug ’n’ play and self-powered installs quickly by T-ing into the NMEA 2000 backbone and drawing power from the bus.
-
Supports multiple SmartShunts and larger battery systems, providing scalable monitoring for complex installations.
-
NMEA 2000 Alerts generated from any BMV or SmartShunt alarms keep you informed of system status in real time.
-
Wide compatibility enables Victron MPPT solar controllers and battery monitors to interconnect with NMEA 2000 via veKonvert, simplifying electrical data display on your MFD.
How it works
veKonvert is a dedicated NMEA 2000 interface developed in collaboration with Victron Energy. It uses Victron’s VE.Direct data as the source for NMEA 2000 data, allowing your MFDs to present battery voltage, current, state of charge, and other vital metrics without adding complexity to the cockpit.
Compatibility and installation notes
-
Not compatible with Victron Chargers and Inverters. Do not connect veKonvert to VE.Direct interfaces of Victron “Consumers” such as Multiplus, Quattro, Cerbo, etc.
-
Installation is simple — just insert into the NMEA 2000 backbone and connect the VE.Direct port on the SmartShunt to start streaming battery data to your network.
- Ideal for boats where a clean dash or nav area is desired, with electrical data directly on the main navigation displays.
