The FX-55 features an exclusive, patented 32°–45° adjustable fluke angle, dramatically increasing holding power in challenging bottoms—especially in soft mud and hard sand. This thoughtful design means you get superior bite where it matters most, with less anchor weight.
Engineered for serious boats
- Recommended boat range: 52'–58' (FX-55 is the ideal match for mid-to-large saltwater moorings).
- Working load: 4,000 lb (1,814 kg), providing a robust safety margin for demanding conditions.
Holding power by bottom conditions
- 32° hard sand: up to 16,000 lb (7,258 kg) of holding power.
- 45° soft mud: up to 4,800 lb (2,177 kg).
- 32° soft mud: up to 2,400 lb (1,089 kg).
