Meet the Garmin Boat Switch, a digital switching module that redefines how you manage onboard power. Model 010-02735-00 brings modern, software-driven control to your boat, letting you run lights, pumps, horn and more right from your chartplotter—without a bank of physical switches or fuses.
Smart, scalable control from your chartplotter
Operate up to 20 circuits directly from a compatible GPSMAP or ECHOMAP chartplotter. Choose from four switch types to tailor the experience:
-
Toggle outputs for bilge pumps and non-dimmable lights (nav lights, courtesy lights).
-
Press-and-hold dimmers for cabin lighting, so you can set the perfect ambiance without fumbling for switches.
-
Momentary outputs for horns and other short-duration alerts.
-
Timers to circulate livewell pumps or other systems for optimal performance.
All from a single, integrated interface that reduces clutter and simplifies operation, so you can focus on the task at hand—not on hunting for a switch panel.
Built-in tank sensing and system monitoring
Garmin Boat Switch features built-in tank sender detection and calibration for up to four tanks, including fuel, freshwater, graywater, blackwater, and livewell. See levels at a glance and keep critical systems topped up and ready to go. It also provides live system visibility, including analog voltages for house and start batteries and bilge pump operation, so you always know the health of your electrical system.
Easy retrofit, simple setup
Retrofit into your existing boat without special tools or complex configuration. The kit includes 18" flying leads and color-coded channel wires for straightforward installation, plus the ability to name and position switches directly on your chartplotter display. It replaces traditional fuse boxes and switches with a single, cohesive digital solution.
Reliable power, robust connectivity
Designed for marine use with an IP65 enclosure rating, the Garmin Boat Switch keeps your system protected in harsh conditions. It runs on 12V DC (9-16V) with a maximum current of 50A and a power-off current of 60mA. The device communicates over CAN-bus and NMEA 2000 networks, ensuring seamless integration with your existing marine electronics.
Compact, capable hardware
General specs at a glance: 9.1" x 4.2" x 1.5" (unit only), 14.1 oz (400 g). Modules support up to 20 circuits with compact, rugged design ready for marine environments.
