Designed for reliability and efficient operation, this kit supports long service life across a range of bronze flexible impeller pumps used on boats and other marine equipment. To maximize uptime, replace all impellers at least once per year or sooner based on engine duty, ensure correct installation, and carry spare impellers on board for emergencies. When replacing: remove the end cover screws, then use a Jabsco Impeller Removal Tool or channel‑lock pliers to grip the hub—do not use screwdrivers, which can damage the pump face and cause leaks. Treat the impeller with grease to ease insertion and improve the initial prime. After replacing the gasket and end cover, the pump is ready to operate.
