Designed for reliability, efficiency, and long-lasting performance in demanding marine and industrial environments, the neoprene impeller resists wear and heat while maintaining strong water flow to protect your engine. For best results, replace impellers at least once a year (or sooner based on engine duty). If replacement is needed, remove the end cover screws and use a Jabsco Impeller Removal Tool or channel-lock pliers to grip the impeller hub—avoid screwdrivers to prevent damage. Grease new impellers before installation to ease priming and protect the pump bore. After reassembling the gasket and end cover, the pump is ready to operate. Keep spare impellers on board for quick emergency replacements.
