The Maxwell RC8-6 Vertical Windlass is a rugged, fully automatic rope/chain windlass designed for effortless anchor handling. Built with a corrosion-resistant combination of stainless steel (AISI 316) and chromed bronze, this 12V windlass is capable of retrieving and deploying 6–7 mm (1/4") chain spliced to 12 mm (1/2") three-strand or eight-braid rope. The RC8-6 delivers reliable performance, precision control, and easy retrofit compatibility for a wide range of boats.
