Ocean Signal rescueME EPIRB3 Cat 2 with AIS and RLS is the next generation in emergency positioning beacons, delivering faster rescue and smarter safety for every voyage. Designed for all types and sizes of recreational and commercial vessels, this compact, ergonomic EPIRB3 packs advanced features to keep you safer at sea.
When every second counts, the EPIRB3 transmits a digital 406 MHz distress signal to the Cospas-Sarsat satellite network, ensuring global visibility. It derives its precise location from GNSS positioning (GPS, Galileo, Glonass), providing coordinates accurate to within 100 meters and relaying this GPIRB position to rescuers worldwide.
At the same time, advanced AIS technology broadcasts AIS VHF signals immediately on activation, alerting nearby vessels with MMSI details and guiding them directly to your location. This local safety messaging dramatically speeds up rescue operations and improves chances of a rapid recovery, day or night.
-
Return Link Service (RLS): visual confirmation that your distress message has been received.
-
AIS integration: automatic VHF AIS alerts and a selectable AIS target on nearby vessels’ displays for quick navigation to the beacon.
-
Homing and visibility: 121.5 MHz homing signal plus visible and infrared strobe lights to locate the beacon in all conditions.
-
NFC mobile app monitoring: check battery power and beacon status with a free smartphone app before you head out.
-
Rugged, compact design: built for reliability on both recreational and commercial vessels, with advanced safety features in a durable case.
The combination of global satellite distress calling, precise GPIRB positioning, and local AIS safety messaging significantly improves recovery times and lifesaving outcomes. With NFC-equipped status checks and seamless integration into rescue operations, the rescueME EPIRB3 is the trusted safety companion your voyages deserve.
