Global, subscription-free safety — The PLB1 works with the official worldwide Cospas Sarsat rescue system. Because it’s government-funded, there are NO CHARGES to use this service. When activated, your position and ID are transmitted to a Rescue Coordination Center via satellite, and the nearest rescue services are promptly notified and kept updated on your location until you’re safe.
