Victron Centaur Charger – 12 VDC, 40 AMP, 3-Bank is a rugged, high-performance battery charger designed to power three independent battery banks from either AC or DC sources. Built to withstand harsh environments, it’s a versatile solution for boats, RVs, and demanding off-grid installations, offering intelligent charging across three banks.
- Three isolated outputs: Simultaneously charge up to three battery banks, with each output delivering the full rated current.
- Three-stage charging with temperature compensation: Bulk charging until current falls to 70% of rating, a 4-hour timer, then float.
- Internal temperature sensor: Adjusts charge voltage by –2 mV/°C per cell to protect battery life.
- Universal input and DC operation: Accepts 90–265 VAC input (50/60 Hz) and 90–400 V DC, with no adjustments required; compatible with AC-DC and DC-DC configurations.
- Rugged, corrosion-resistant build: Aluminium epoxy powder-coated case, drip shield, stainless steel fixings, and acrylic-coated circuit boards to withstand heat, humidity, and salt air.
- Flexible charging control: DIP switch selects optimum charge/float voltages for Flooded Lead-Acid, Gel, or AGM batteries for tailored performance.
