The Victron Cyrix-Li-ct 12/24V-230A Intelligent Li-Ion Battery Combiner is a microprocessor-controlled heavy-duty relay that automatically parallels batteries in your system when charging begins, and safely disconnects when discharge begins. Designed as an advanced replacement for diode isolators, it delivers virtually no voltage loss, so you don’t need to raise the output of your alternator or battery charger.

How it works
The Cyrix-Li-ct monitors battery voltages and the VE.Bus BMS signals to determine when to connect or disconnect batteries in parallel. When charging voltage is present on one battery, the Cyrix-Li-ct connects the packs, sharing the charge current with minimal loss. If any battery shows overvoltage or the BMS signals a fault, the controller disengages the connection to protect the cells. A special start-assist pulse can help with cranking, and the built-in transient suppressor keeps voltage transients from damaging components.
