-
Two AC Outputs: The main output provides no-break functionality, taking over the supply to connected loads within less than 20 milliseconds if the grid fails or shore/generator power is disconnected, ensuring uninterrupted operation for critical electronics. The second output is live only when AC input is available, so loads that should not discharge the battery (such as a water heater) can be connected to this output. A second output is available on models rated at 3 kVA and more.
-
Virtually Unlimited Power Thanks to Parallel Operation: Up to six Multis can operate in parallel to achieve higher power output. For example, six 24/3000/70 units provide 15 kW / 18 kVA of output power with 420 A of charging capacity.
-
Three Phase Capability: In addition to parallel connections, three units can be configured for three-phase output. With three strings of six parallel units, you can build a 45 kW / 54 kVA three-phase inverter and a 1260 A charger.
-
Split Phase Options: Two units can be stacked to provide 120-0-120 V, and additional units can be paralleled up to a total of six units per phase, delivering up to 30 kW / 36 kVA of split-phase power. Alternatively, a split-phase AC source can be obtained by connecting Victron's autotransformer to a ‘European’ inverter programmed to supply 240 V / 60 Hz.
-
Power Control – Dealing with Limited Generator, Shore Side or Grid Power: The MultiPlus is a powerful battery charger that can draw substantial current from a generator or shoreside supply. With the Multi Control Panel, you can set a maximum generator or shore current, and the unit will allocate excess capacity to charging while preserving available power for other loads.
-
PowerAssist – Boosting the Capacity of Shore or Generator Power: PowerAssist extends the effective capacity of your external power source by supplementing with battery power during peak demand. When the load drops, spare power is used to recharge the battery, ensuring you maximize available resources without overloading the primary supply.
-
Four-Stage Adaptive Charger and Dual Bank Battery Charging: The main output delivers a powerful charge to the battery system using advanced adaptive charge software. The software fine-tunes the three-stage automatic charging process to suit battery conditions and adds a fourth stage for optimized performance.
Designed to deliver dependable, intelligent power management, the MultiPlus 24/2000 combines versatility, scalability, and robust charging in a compact, elegant solution.
