Isolated 12 VDC to 12 VDC conversion: galvanic isolation between input and output for safer power distribution, with 200 VDC isolation between input, output, and case.

Remote On/Off terminal: control the converter with a low-current switch or engine run/stop, eliminating the need for a high-current input switch.

Paralleling capability: an unlimited number of units can be connected in parallel to increase output current; all models are short-circuit proof.

High temperature protection: output current derates at high ambient temperatures (3% derate per °C above 40 °C) to protect the unit.

IP43 protection (terminals oriented downward): suitable for installations with screw terminals facing down for added protection.

Rugged, tool-free installation: screw terminals with no special tools required; input fuse (not replaceable) on 12 V and 24 V input models only.

Adjustable output (not for battery charging): output voltage adjustable from 10–15 V (nominal output 12.2 V), with ±0.2 V tolerance and 2 mV RMS noise. Not intended for battery charging (consider using an Orion-Tr Smart for charging).

Efficient power delivery: up to 87% efficiency; continuous output current 30 A at nominal voltage; 430 W continuous at 25 °C (360 W at 40 °C); 60 A short-circuit current.
