The Victron Orion-TR 12/12-9A isolated DC-DC converter delivers clean, regulated 12 V output from a 12 V input for automotive, marine, and off-grid systems, with safety-grade isolation and a compact, easy-to-install form factor.
- Isolated DC-DC conversion: 200 VDC galvanic isolation between input, output, and case for safer, cleaner power transfer.
- Output characteristics: Nominal 12.2 V adjustable from 10–15 V; continuous 9 A (110 W at 25°C; 85 W at 40°C); peak 12.5 A for 10 seconds; tolerance ±0.2 V; noise 2 mV rms.
- Remote On/Off control: Remote terminal enables turning the converter on or off from a low-power switch or engine start/stop circuit—no high-current wiring required.
- Paralleling capability: Unlimited units can be connected in parallel to increase total output current.
- Protection & safety: High-temperature protection reduces output current at elevated ambient temperatures; undervoltage shutdown at 7 V with restart at 7.5 V; short-circuit output current up to 32 A.
