The Victron Quattro-II 24/3000 - 70-50/50 - 2X 120V is a high-performance inverter/charger designed for standard North American 50A 120/240VAC split-phase power. With two AC inputs and two AC outputs, it automatically connects to the active source and powers your loads with reliability and flexibility.
Smart, seamless power management
Two AC inputs and two AC outputs allow you to connect shore power, a generator, or two generators. The Quattro automatically switches to the active source, and the main output mirrors the input for seamless operation.
In inverter mode, when no AC source is available, the unit provides 120V single-phase output. To ensure compatibility with 240V loads, the inverter ties L1 and L2 together to deliver 120VAC from either line, while heavier 240V loads require a split-phase source.
Reliable transfer and smart power sharing
-
No-break transfer on the main output: L1 transfers in under 18 milliseconds, keeping computers and electronics running smoothly. L2 transfer takes about 40 milliseconds.
-
PowerControl and PowerAssist: Set a maximum grid or generator current and let the Quattro manage charging, using extra capacity for charging when possible to prevent overloading the source.
- PowerAssist helps cover peak loads by supplementing generator/grid power from the battery, then recharging when the load reduces (charging occurs on the L1 input).
Scalability and flexible configurations
-
Parallel and three-phase operation: Up to 6 Quattros can operate in parallel for higher power, and three units can be configured for three-phase output. In multi-phase setups, L2 is disabled on all units to optimize performance.
- The auxiliary output is live only when AC is available at the input, so you can connect loads that should not discharge the battery without affecting overall power availability.
Designed for reliability and versatility, the Quattro-II 24/3000 delivers robust backup power, flexible source management, and scalable performance to meet demanding off-grid, backup, or multi-source installations.
