Description
Victron VE.Bus Smart Dongle is a compact, two-in-one solution that brings Bluetooth monitoring and voltage/temperature sensing to your VE.Bus inverter/charger system. This clever dongle lets you monitor performance and control your setup from anywhere, making power management smarter and simpler.
The dongle works as a Bluetooth accessory for our inverter/charger range, including Multis, MultiPluses, MultiPlus-II, MultiGrid, MultiGrid-II, Quattros, and all Phoenix Inverters with a VE.Bus port. Install it and use the VictronConnect app to monitor operation and to operate the system:
- Change the input current limit to protect wiring and optimize charging in different installations.
- Switch between Off, On and Charger-only modes for flexible power management.
In addition, it serves as a voltage- and temperature-sense device for the inverter/charger. This is compatible with all models and is especially useful with the MultiPlus-II, which does not have on-board terminals for sense wiring. The result is accurate sensing, safer operation, and improved charging behavior.
For monitoring and control, this dongle provides a practical, compact alternative to larger control hubs. It’s a smart option for caravans, smaller yachts and motor homes when a Color Control GX or Venus GX is not required.
