Xantrex Battery Temperature Sensor (BTS) for Freedom SW Series helps you achieve a fuller, healthier charge by measuring your battery temperature and feeding precise data to the charger or charge controller. This temperature-aware charging adapts voltage based on ambient conditions, maximizing performance and extending battery life.
The BTS mounts directly on a terminal post of a battery in a bank or on the side of a battery and continually monitors its temperature. The intelligent communication with your charger ensures temperature-compensated charging, so your system delivers the right amount of power exactly when your batteries need it.
